There are countless millions on earth who join themselves to this theory, but there’s not a single soul in Hell who believes it. What thinkest thou?
“And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life,” (1 John 2:25)
The Lord Jesus alone can wash away our sins in His own blood; He alone can deliver us from Hell; He alone can fit us for Heaven. All is in Him, and outside of Him all is vanity and useless. Unto us therefore which believe He is precious. Our faith and hope must be in Him.
“I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.”(John 5:30)
Is this our prayer and manner of life? Is God in all our thoughts or are we worldly and love the things that are in the world- not only the objects it presents, but the very place itself, in preference to places and things where the direct presence of God might be enjoyed? The Lord Jesus’ eye was always rightly focused, ‘I have glorified Him (the Father)’ was always true of Him (The Son)!
